What happens when I delete duplicates?

Deleted photos and videos are moved to your iPhone's "Recently Deleted" album in the Photos app. They remain there for 30 days, giving you time to recover them if needed.

Can the app compress photos and videos?

Yes. The compression tool helps reduce file sizes while preserving quality. You can review estimated savings before applying compression.

Can I merge duplicate contacts?

Yes. The app can find likely duplicate contacts and lets you review/merge them with full control over what information is kept.

What is Hidden Storage Finder?

Hidden Storage Finder gives guided steps to clear storage in places users often miss, such as Messages attachments, Downloads, Recently Deleted, and Safari data.

How often can I scan with the free version?

Free users can perform one duplicate scan every 30 days. You can view your last scan results anytime without using your scan quota. Premium users have unlimited scans.

How do I restore my purchase?

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Why does the app need photo library access?

Storage Cleaner needs access to your photo library to scan for duplicates. We only read your photos to analyze them for similarities - we never upload, share, or store them externally.

Troubleshooting

Scan is taking a long time

Large photo libraries with thousands of images may take several minutes to scan. The app uses on-device processing which is more private but requires more time for large libraries.

App says photo access was denied

Go to iPhone Settings > Storage Cleaner > Photos and select "Full Access" to enable photo library scanning.
